A
small group of teenagers fights back when every outward manifestation
of their individuality is co-opted – by the enemy. The
project is special – the theme deals with a subject faced
by nearly parent or teen (so just about everyone!), and provides
a way to talk about how we adorn our bodies and how we are perceived
by others. The film is being produced with the cooperation of
two Washington State school districts and three high schools,
and is providing an opportunity for over 100 high school students
to work with filmmaking professionals.
This
is a project of the Northwest Film Forum (NWFF), and donations
are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. Principal
photography is scheduled for June 20-23, 2008, at Highline
High School in Burien, Washington.
Thank
you for your support! A $100 donation will document your “coolness”
in celluloid forever!
